I'm not pro or against Win Vista or Win 7, I'm a Mac user now
Must admit I was gutted when I heard Apple sold out to Intel on the Mac's... is a Mac still a Mac? Are Rolls Royce's still Rolls Royce's?
I've heard a lot of positive things about Windows 7, but every time I hear an explanation as to why people are so positive about it I don't understand what the big deal is. For example, someone mentioned that they've been using it at work, well DOS can still do pretty much everything that people would demand of it 'at work.'
At the moment I dual boot XP and Ubuntu on my main machine, Vista on my Laptop, and Windows Mobile 6 on my Ipaq 214... and they all get on great with each other. I don't have any performance issues with them to complain about.
I'm sure there are numpties out there who think that their operating system is tailored to their computer, and that it should just work, but all the members of these forums are people who understand this to not be the case. We know we have to get hold of it and make it work on our computers - and that is the only exciting thing about it, we do it because we can. Yep, we're well 'ard...
I'll get W7 when I've got some money to burn... for myself personally I don't see the benefit yet...

Just be a nutter... life becomes much more exciting, and people won't expect anything more of you...
