not plugging a 20 pin ATX connector into a 24 pin are you?

check memory SPD incase its trying for tighter timings

reset BIOS via jumper

check volts to CPU... current BIOS revision support the cpu?

check that theres no discolouration on power connectors... never know you might be arking somewere ...

A number of things, but it basically boiled down to poor connections. I did a fair bit of putting new spades on, soldering eyes and what have you. Seemed to work :D ohhh and some trusty WD40 and a technical tap with my boot ;)

Now to sell it ASAP! (or if it goes like it generally does with me ...

Went round to the mothers earlier n ordered her adsl for workin from home, thought i'd go for ADSL24 for the short contract plus its fairly cheap. There was adsl on the line probably... 5-6 months back now and last i knew the line was adsl enabled. Hence the confusion, ADSL24 say that there would ...
