SWapping drives around in my machine as I've just got a nice 500gb drive, plugged everything in, formatted the drive, moved things too it, come back to the machine and I've now got 2 drives with Corrupt Master File Tables.
chkdsk wont run on them and neither will Ontrack EasyRecovery...

Idea's?

I'm going down the format n then use easyrecover pro, seems to fire up if the drives are on the main sata channels, if theres anything on the Sil channel it just bombs out...

I've used Getdataback ntfs too, but it needs to be able to see the drive in the first place.

Would be nice if there was something out there that could scan the drive and then just make a new MFT instead of having to move the files to another drive.
Not much of a problem as I have plenty of disk space but its time consuming scanning then moving all the bloody files.
