...if its been noticed.
I must admit that I havent exactly taken to BFBC2. I find myself getting annoyed at the console style gameplay and no real sense of fulfillment. I really cannot stand things like sprinting with the Barrat sniper rifle and taking a non aimed snap shot and getting rewarded with a headshot, time and time again. I do not find that rewarding. I'm the first to admit that I'm not the best player in the world but I would rather it take a little skill to acheive these things rather than a sloppy port from a console game.
Perhaps I'm too used to the older Call of Duty games where this wasn't an issue.
I may still return from time to time but I'd understand if you felt that I should lose my GSV tags. I do sort of feel that you were a little early in asking if I'd like to join, a view shared by others as I read in the members section when you first suggested it(you may want to delete or close posts concerning new members in the future). I think it was barely a week before I was asked.
Sorry for being a grumpy barsteward, and please understand that this is nothing against any of you. You have all been very welcoming and I've felt right at home, but the game just isnt for me.
Be excellent to one-another!
Sorry For My Absence....

Hey Bushy, GSV is about you not the bloody game. Drop in teamspeak for a chat whenever you want. Post anything on the forums you care to talk about.
If you like realism, I got a copy of arma2 here that is so very hard to play but satisfying when it goes well. Tried to get a few of the lads here into it but it was just too manly for their gayness.
Only a few of us here play bc2 Bushy, the rest do their own thing but we are still here as a group of mates / friens call us what you will.
Please stick around mate.

Yeah stick around, its about having a laugh more than anything else.
And there's BF3 on the horizon which may bring back the feel of BF2 over BC2.
Infact I think some of the clan even play C.O.D
Like Trig said, some of us play CS:S as well.
Don't run off, join the fun
And as for leaving the thread about you in full view it just shows there's nothing to hide.
Everyone said what they felt and no-one said they didnt want you to join us.

You can't leave us with just two beards in the clan!
Sounds like you've been playing sniper too long... and just about everyone who plays this now has developed an element of skill, realised or not... especially where hand-eye coordination comes in.
Me, I've only just started playing sniper and I find it frustrating as I love those moments of running to a flashing MCOM, bam-bam two cans of smoke, then disarm.
Terrence has the enviable skill of just appearing like some ninja in a cloud of smoke, and I've found that it is a lot of fun sneaking around like he does, you can get to places where the enemy just don't expect you to be. I'm enjoying playing as a medic with the MG3 I think it's called. Katy has mauled me enough with that weapon enough to make me realise how effective it is, so I want my Plat' with that.
I noticed that I blinkered myself to what this game offers by staying with Assault too long, and so I'm just going for it with other weapons and using their strengths accordingly. However, if you wanted to stick with the sniper rifles, have you had any marksman points yet? They are the points you get on very long range kills.
As you have recognised just how fussy we are as to who we allow into the clan, this should also help you see just how hard it is we are going to make it for you to leave.

Just be a nutter... life becomes much more exciting, and people won't expect anything more of you...
GSV is a bit like The Hotel California, "you can check out any time you want, but you can never leave".
There is more to GSV then just gaming. I think with BFBC2 has just about the right balance of skill/arcade features to make it a popular clan game. I really enjoy playing it when we can get about 8 of GSV playing at the same time.
I enjoy the on line banter and the humiliation of the knife kill. The game it's self is ok but it comes alive when Teamspeak is used.
If you're not to happy with the game take a break have a Kit Kat and stick around on the forums. There is always something else round the corner to play.
Long live
and it's members!
