Firefox Dead?

Firefox has been giving me some real grief lately. Sometimes it can take several minutes to start, and sometimes it never starts at all. There is a running process, but just never opens up.

It is a recognised bug, but I'm surprised that it is taking so long for them to fix it. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Mine takes a while to start up since the last update. I might switch the auto update off , having said that its just popped up requesting another update, maybe this is the bug fix ?

Just updated (3.5.7), and it seems to have resolved the slow startup

None here either.
Did have a problem a little while back where it wouldn't shut down properly, but hasn't done that in a while.
