Stumbled across this little prog on a cover disc originally.
Quite simple to use, all it does is give you the option to delay startup of things such as X-fire, broadband meters etc. allowing the vital systems to boot up first and unhindered.

I tend to use msconfig and get rid of the crap thats in there.
Failing that an SSD solves most problems

Already using Windows 7 on my work laptop, just going to be some time before I can get an SSD

Id love to, however my van service just cost £197 + VAT and it needs the brakes doing, which is another £184 + VAT, so no new toys for me!!
