Eve of Destruction 1.1 was released on Monday

The "Eve Of Destruction" mod is a tribute to the U.S. , ARVN and Vietcong/NVA soldiers who fought and died in Vietnam, and also to the Vietnamese people.

It features a variety of weapons, over 40 brand new vehicles and diverse maps ranging from dense jungles to overgrown rice paddies.

I had a quick go on it this morning and first impressions are good

Been playing this now for a good few hours, absolutely loving it!

The jungle is very dense and unlike BF:Vietnam, you can actually hide in it and the enemy can't see you at all easily.

Loving every aspect of it so far, even the music is great, though the motar's can get annoying if people are spamming them.

Yeah, basically, give it an hour of your time and see what you think

I've played about three of this mod's maps, and they were really nice, and intense. The commanders role has gone and arty has been replaced by mortar with which I couldn't hit a thing with.

It looks a lot like BF:V, but plays a lot better.

I'm going on now Claw, and yes like me I can't hit anything with the mortar lol.

If you pop on XFire you should be able to see which server i'm on
