I've pretty much given up on most of these things now because you get a different result for every one you go to. I feel the best results come from just downloading a file from the likes of Microsoft or Sun... of course you wouldn't get upload results from that...
Just be a nutter... life becomes much more exciting, and people won't expect anything more of you...

I agree, the results tend to differ.
BT's own speedtest tends to alway give me 2 Mbps, even if I've been DLing torrents at least twice that.
What I like about this is the tracking. I can see if it worsens at certain times etc.
Started looking into when BT are throttling my connection because I'm a heavy user.
