For some reason I can never get bit torrents over about 15k :(

Ive a Belkin G802.11 Wireless with 4 port switch

Any tips on setting this up cause Im clueless

With nildram I dont think theres any port blocking...I do know 21000 is open use that one for hosting il2 so i pointed BT to that as an example I currently download from 39 peers, all seeds and im getting 2 to 4k with the odd 15k spike

ATM 0

but usually anywhere from 3 to 27k

Ive only got 256 upload but its often at least double my download

What sites are you taking the torrents from and what client are you using??

Hiya Dak, <a href="http://portforward.com/default.htm" target="_blank">this</a> place gives most info you will ever need about opening ports for torrents. I got mine sorted there from a very good tut.

First of all Utorrent and Azureus Both use a encryption, I don't know about Bittorrent. NellyBoy's link is really good for sorting out Portforwarding which will most likey help. Also Public Tracker websites always give low speeds, Private Trackers are alot better. I don't know if TV Torrents is a private or public.

Also, you should have decentralised tracking disabled in your client. If enabled your ratio will only increase very slowly because you are uploading to people who do not belong to the tracker site. For my two main torrent sites this must be disabled as a rule of membership.
