As much as I wont buy anything from them, www.overclockers.co.uk they have just put up the OEM prices for both Vista and Office 2007

A lot cheaper than first thought

They'll come out eventually, there's no rush.
Will the 32bit version run on 64bit machines?

Stocky, that still leaves the option of Ultimate, and home pro :)

the 32bit version will run fine on new hardware.

Cheapest place is Aria for Vista

Vista Ultimate OEM, £120

Mav, you might find that most of the Educational institutes have only Vista Business Edition available to download...

Home pro is $159 for an upgrade, seems the cheepest way to get media center vista.

You think you can upgrade from a pirate copy of windows hypothetically speaking of course)?

edit: £75 from Aria, not too bad actually. Would still like to pay nothing though :D

Yeah it seems a lot cheaper than Xp was, but still the amount of system resources it needs to run itself and the horror stories I have heard about it means that I will be waiting about a year before I really look into buying it.
