My son got his exam results today. He passed the grades he needed to enter Cambridge University. We are all so pleased for him.
Next stop Cambridge! I'll have to crack open that bottle of champagne in the fridge.

He must have worked hard for that! :th:

History

Quote from the local paper

QUOTE

At Richard Rose Sixth Form this morning sixth form pupils received their results in the atrium of the new school on Lismore Place - dressed in hard hats and high visibility jackets.

About 100 year-13 pupils received their results. The overall pass rate has risen by four per cent from 91 per cent to 95 per cent.

Five pupils achieved eight of the new A* grades with one student, Chris Humpleby, 18, achieving 3 A* and 2 A grades. He will now take up a place at Cambridge University to read history.

He said: “I am absolutely over the moon. I’ve worked really hard for this and it’s great to see it has finally paid off. I’ll be going to the pub tonight to celebrate with my friends.â€
