Hello,

A little bit of help/advice is required please!

Current situation is the computer is in the back bedroom along with wii, 360, dvd player. Now this is only an old samsung tube tv, and the computer has a nice panel (19', TV is 26').

Do modern LCD's exist that would be worth combining all the inputs into one panel ?, something around 23' up over would be more than fine i'd say and would cut the space down a lot. Or am I asking too much ?
Inputs would be, 1 x DVI pc, 1 x HDMI 360, 1 x Scart for wii/dvd, can bin dvd player if needs be.

Any thoughts on this?

Note: Budget is an issue as this is a none necessary purchase at the moment!

Thanks in advance.

What would you put down as a rough bracket for your budget?

I'm seriously thinking about an LED Projector, they look very promising... and in the region of £300.00 for displays of up to 50".

I've borrowed two projectors before and they don't appeal to me really. I would have one, but only for that one off film not for constant long term use on a desktop machine.

As for bracket, I have a spare one laying around at my folks from my previous tv that is a universal one (apparently), just need to find the dam thing first :P

If I get chance I might call into richer sounds as they've been very helpful in the past with random questions like this one, I know there is a solution to all in one, its just how far it stretches stretched money !

S'pose with something like a TV it has got to be hand chosen, with just a smidgin of recommendation.

We bought an all-in-one LCD TV some years ago, and being the almost deaf one in the family, (as my wife likes to remind me) everyone thought I was going nuts when I said I could hear a high pitch whine whenever the TV was on. My daughter wasn't impressed because Paloma Faith was on at the time... no matter how many times I told her that I like Paloma Fath...

I put up with it for a week and then took it back. What did the shop say about it? "Some people hear it, some people don't." Anyway, I still haven't convinced my wife that this guy in the shop wasn't just being kind to a loopy looking bloke wearing a flat cap 'hearing things'...
