mac address spoofing and ports...

On my uni network we have to register our mac addresses, and then we get a 2gb per month limit.

My housemate does not have a computer so i have spoofed my mac address and registered again for her allowance :). seemed like a good idea.

But for some reason the only port i can seem to access is port 80, whereas if i connect under my account i can access them all, (i am downloading via SSH from a mates computer).


When i ping using hte spoofed mac address it can find the site but it jsut comes bk saying "Destination Port Unreachable"



So i am a bit confused!

Let me know if any1 has any ideas!

Get another network card in there, then you have two physical addresses to choose from.

Then bend her over the kitchen work surface.
