One of the newer (G92) 8800GTS will eat two 8600GTS's easily and run games at a higher resolution
Whats the rest of the spec going with it?

I got the BFG 8800GTS 512 OC. Price is dropping now below 200. Its very good.

Go for the single faster card, Sli is variable in effect.
The new 8800 GTS is very good, esp if your monitor is 22inch or less
