:)

Me and my girly just managed to bag ourselves a job in a chalet for the next 5 months :)

I know i've not mentioned it before, but this is the reason why i wont be doing my bike test until may next year, because i'll actually be in Switzerland, the 4 Valleys :)

<a href="http://www.mski.co.uk" target="_blank">www.mski.co.uk</a>

We'll be looking after a chalet of 8 (plus a max of 2 kids), including cooking, cleaning, food budgeting etc. along with a bit of ski guiding.
I can't wait, we're both absolutely chuffed to bits, it's been a long process in getting ready, but we're finally nearly there and head out on the 6th december.

The past few months have been a nightmare.
When Selena found out she was being made redundant last year, a few gears worked away and we wondered if we could possibly organise the timing so we could go a do a whole season. She finally badgered her work to give her a date in writing of the end of november, which they now have done. . . just. My work have agreed to let me take a sabbatical and keep my job open for me when i come back.

We both own our own houses, and she has cats, so we've gradually had to move her and her cats to my house and sort her house out ready to be rented out, which has involved a seemingly endless stream of moving, decorating, cleaning and tidying.. . . but now finally, it's in the paper and almost completely empty :)
The cats are in my house, the car is SORN'd, my mortgage payment holiday has started and my lodger has been bribed into looking after said cats for 5 months :)

Now, being offered the job at Chalet Emma, our flights are booked and there's no turning back!!

Anybody fancy coming skiing this winter?

You jammy git!!!! :P

One of our regrets (for me an the missis) is that we didn't do this. We talked about it loads and maybe when the kids have finished Uni we still might do it.

God, I'm envious as hell.

Watch out bud, you just might get some real awkward vege clients from Suffolk :whis: :fish:

Hehe, you're more than welcome mate :)

We thought that if we don't do it now, we might never do it.
