Hey all,

I'm in need of some portable storage, just seen this on overclockers (i know i know :P )

LaCie Black 500GB USB2.0 External Hard Drive (301285) £63.44 inc VAT

- Interface USB 2.0 (1.1 compatiblity)
- Capacity 500GB
- 7200 RPM
- 16MB Cache Buffer
- 2 Year limited warranty

Seems from the forum they contain a nice samsung drive, anyone any comments to offer on external drives ?

I've got one of those WD Passport drives, really small and nice looking things if your on the move.

Mines only 120GB but does for what I need it for, works seemlessly with the 360 and PS3 too :)

I have about 4 External HHD that I use all the time. My Fav is the Icybox You just stick in a HHD the size that you want or if like me carry a few HDD and swap about as needed. Another that I use is Freecom which is fine and sturdy, Megan throws them about the house and they still work.

Yeah I do it for all of Megans films works a charm over USB
