Yesterday was a tough day I can tell you!
My 3month old house suffered from flooding
I managed to get most of the stuff upstairs, but sofas and stuff were too large to take upstairs on my own.
A few pics...
Please ignore the grey shadow spot (dirt inside the lens) but it was the only camera I could lay my hands on in mid flood (everything else was shoved into the spare room).
Insurance company made aware, so the process has started.
We are due to return later today to see what the extent is overnight, the water was slowly dropping when we left.
Thats my house on the right, with the people outside... (on the pavement, look how deep!)

Thats bad that, didnt escape too good meself was driving down to Bath on Friday, what should of been a 5 hour journey took 20 hours.
M42 was cabbaged and flooded and down to 1 lane took me 4-5 hours to do 9 miles. Then hit the M5 was stop start till it eventually wasnt moving and was sat there for another 8 hours and got turned around at 4am cause the road was flooded. So had to go along the M40 to oxford and down to the M4 was an absolute pain.
