I've got an AVI file which plays quite happily on my PC using Media Player.

However it won't play on my Divx player which is connected to my telly.

So I thought I would convert it to DVD instead.

I usually use Winavi Video Convertor for this but on this occasion I get this message.

"cant decode this file! maybe the file is broken or system not install the decoder"

As I said it plays quite happily on the PC so any ideas?

I think youre missing the point.

It plays just fine on my pc, but it wont play on my Divx player which has the latest firmware on it etc.

So what i want is something to convert it
