Actually, i have my girlfriend to thank for this, a few years ago, to get people off my back, i promised one year i'd cut it for charity. This year just happens to be a sponsored scissorthon, so it's kinda come round and bitten me.

Anyway, if i have to do this, i want it to be worthwhile, if it reaches Â£1000 i may consider shaving it.
However, this will be down to my girlfriend.

It will also be video'd and put on utube

The only thing thats bothering me is you said you wouldnt get it cut short! its a sponsored hair cut not a bloody trim !

Why you fallin out with people chap?
Its well past due, and you never know you might find somethin in there u thought you had lost...

I say you cut it at least as short as mine as it'll be bad enuf having short hair after all these years for ya, to go bic is just wrong so I say down to a 2/3 blade, wouldnt wanna put any unessesery suffering on ya..

Oh, and you might want to look into selling your hair on eBay to boost the money....

Basically the missus did this without really having my consent.
I was always going to do it, just would rather have done it at my own pace.
I'm just not happy about having it forced on me, but i guess that's the point.

I'm just moaning really, it's only hair.

It will be short, but i'm not going to shave it. I'm leaving it up to the hairdresser (my cousin), who has always wanted it SHORT.
I guess it'll be down to about an inch or two.

Aye, in reality i probably wont grow it back though.

I've had long hair since i was 12, so it's a fairly big thing for me. I dont like the fact the woman is trying to change me, only been with her 6 months.

Anyway, enough of this. Get yer wallet out!
