I've been trying to read a bit about the new Nvidia 8800 cards and trying to find out what direct x 10 will bring. There are some hi res videos of a new game called <a href="http://www.alanwake.com/movies.html" target="_blank"><!--coloro:#3333FF--><span style="color:#3333FF"><!--/coloro-->Alan Wake<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></a> and download the <a href="http://www.crysis-online.com/video_down ... sis-Online" target="_blank">%20Crysis%20G80%20Presentation.zip]<!--coloro:#3333FF--><span style="color:#3333FF"><!--/coloro-->Crysis<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></a>video and check out the motion blur.
Very impressive but it means an update to Vista and a DX10 card, how much is that going to cost?

No way can I stretch to buying vista too. I just bought a new case, got mb, cpu, psu, ram, gpu, dvd+-RW, hdd to get next month.
I am finished spending after that lot for another year or so. Oh yeh, me mx700 is nearly dead so there goes another 50 quid.
No more please with the even newer tech toys.
