I was watching a program about the demise of Atari, etc, and there was a lot as to whether the failure of the cartridge "ET" was the cause of it. They decided "ET" wasn't to blame, despite being a duff game. Anyway, I never got the ET bug, and so never got the game. Wanting to give it a try I found this online 2600 emulator which has done quite a good job and seems to have quite a big library of 2600 games.
Had a bash at ET... don't bother... but the likes of Thrust and a couple of other interesting titles were challenging and interesting even though they had nothing special about them graphically.If you did have a bash at any of them you probably wouldn't play them for more than 15-30mins.
