Here's a search engine I've stumbled upon that makes idealistic promises.

<a href="https://duckduckgo.com/about?t=i&kd=-1" target="_blank">About DuckDuckGo</a> (I just clicked on DuckDuck's head to see this) The video clip kinda adds weight to their aspirations.

It also seems they use Crowdsourced results in their search facility, but I'm wondering if that is a separate facility as I don't think Crowdsourcing is actually that quick.

The only problem I see with it is probably quite obvious - for example, compare "I just Googled Heliosphere", and "I just DuckDuckGo'ed Heliosphere". Just doesn't fall off the tongue so easily.

A lot of people use the term "google" as a term for searching, a guy from MS who was running a seminar with Dell I went to last year said he "Googled" with Bing...

I'm embarrassed to say that I had to think about that one for a moment... I'm really glad to say that I didn't get as far as Googling "Google Hoover" before it dawned me what you meant....
