I was looking to get a new hard drive and want to know if anyone has used or got any advise on the following:

Disc and SSD combined, that's novel. I wonder how they interact, or what their interdependability is exactly, because the Disc is going to outlive the SSD.

It might also be worth asking them if they do those drives with covers on.
Just be a nutter... life becomes much more exciting, and people won't expect anything more of you...

Yes but if they put covers on how am I going to write on the platters, It would be a pain to have to keep taking them off each time I want to Write info to them :fish:

Not used one but apparently the drive itself works out what goes where..
