Hi, just as the sharing community is in total meltdown these bods at raspberry Pi come up with the cheapest fullHD player ever.

Just darn <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... NR57ELY28s" target="_blank">clever it is.</a>

Waiting for a little case for it then I will drop the bucks on one of these when the os is sorted for media player playback, something like googletv would be nice.

Hi Andrew, I am waiting for a decent case for it and a workable OS with full functionality. Then I will drop the dosh. I think I would buy direct from Raspberry Pi and put it together meshelf. There will be a good community soon to get an OS sorted (Linux or Android or Win8 for arm chip)

I would imagine that at the you would be able to install DSL or Puppy linux quite comfortly, I would really consider one for the living room media center once a nice wee case came out from it.

Hopefully something that they'll add at a later date, network storage is ok but if you could have something like this with a sata bay you could have all your media on a 2.5" drive and then run straight from that..

These are for sale now but surprise surprise all sold out. I will wait 6 months for a cool case and a sorted os. I wish them every success with getting these into schools.

Start learning to write programs, Python might be a good start, that's quite simple to learn.

I can see this taking off quite well especially at £25. Also with such things as <a href="http://codeyear.com/" target="_blank">http://codeyear.com/</a> via <a href="http://www.codecademy.com/#!/exercises/0" target="_blank">http://www.codecademy.com/#!/exercises/0</a> then I'm sure a surge of little programmers will evolve. In a way its taking it back to the days Bill Gates and Steve Jobs enjoyed.
Anyone else love the look of that tiny PC in the Windows 8 YouTube video?
Yep I think this is gonna be a good year :D

/me tries to remember his Java trainning as he shouts Hello World :D
