There will be hopefully some footage and some news when EA show off BF3 at E3

Well BF3 certainly does look good. Also said about no subscription either

Graphically impressive, but I wouldn't want to have to run across that desert when numpties take off in a tank on their own.

Some of the weapons handling doesn't look right on some of the animations, maybe it's just early days...

That looks very tiring to play. Maybe that is a good thing. An hour in the saddle then off for a cuppa.

Yeah, exactly... a game can be good, but I don't want a war simulator... :(

The CQC with knife looks way too gratuitous...

Good looks dont mean anything with EA's past of badly patched games etc..

Certainly looks good. I wonder what spec PC that was running on. I think my system should give good gameplay.

I think bigger maps will help gameplay, but I'll probably start hating the planes again. The Paris map should give some good CQB.

I'll try the demo and make my mind up then.

Yes the tank scene in the desert is from the single player mode.
