Motherboard Help

Hey a mate of mine called me and wanted me to have a look at a PC of his it turns on then straight off. Orignally thought power supply but when i opened the case the CPU Fan was hanging at the bottom of the case.

The peice of plastic that holds the FAN clip has snapped, what it is called and can it be replaced?

I have attached a photo incase anyone still can help.

Its the heatsink retention bracket

You can google that and find places that sell em.

Or tell us the motherboard details and cpu socket.

But you should be able to do something with that

I've got an AM2+ board here thats been nuked with a very similar setup looking at that socket.
