Only one IDE
Mind you, you are a southerner ;)
What other kit you lookin for then, I could probably dig out a SATA DVD/RW if you've got the HDD..
The CPU is an Intel E5200 and fitted with the stock fan which is plenty good enough, altho I do have a Freezer 7 Pro as well as some big Noctura thing as well if you want to overclock.
RAM, I could probably stretch to 4Gb.

Yes please Trig.
Even after Nuts has pointed out that Cliffs of Dover is a bit disappointing in it's release, I'm still aiming for something like the recommended spec for that.

Blimey, I didn't quite realise that my machine was quite so dated.
Hell, I'm still playing on a 17" CRT with a 15" under the desk for lan parties...

A SATA DVD would be nice, allow me to at least stick two IDE HDs in.
Have one SATA drive for C:/ anyway.

If you can stretch to 4Gb, grand, otherwise I'll sell one of the kids...
(Might still sell one anyway... Consider a swap?)

Have you OC'd the CPU? never OC'd an Intel one yet, so I'll have a go with the Freezer pro.

Let me know how much, and whether you want it via PP, direct bank etc.

yeah he did have a bit of a moan about it didnt he, I'll still get it tho, altho prolly at the month..

CPU never clocked, I had it as the CPU in my WHS box for about 2 months before that went i3.
RAM wise I'll have a dig in my bits box, think its got 2x1Gb sticks in there atm, I know I have at least 1x2gb somewhere.
What OS you gonna put on it, if its 32bit then that 2gb and one of the 1gb's will do you, if its 64bit then I'll have more of a look for another 2gb stick..
Have deffo got a DVD/RW, Optiarc AD-7201S sat here.

Cheers,

will probably stick win7 32 from your garage on it.
Never picked up the 64, tbh, not sure if I'll need the 64 flavour.
open to be convinced though.

PPal ok? will make it 110 to cover postage and charges for you.

32Bit is fine for most people, I'm only on 64 because I'm greedy and theres not the 32/64bit issues there used to be under Windows XP so its pretty much seamless.

pm me an addy and I'll get it boxed up.

CPU
Freezer 7
RAM (3/4Gb)
Board
DVD/RW

Owt else you need that I might have layin about?

cheers Trig.

Should be all set. need to get some win7 drivers for things like the x52 and track IR, but hoping that won't be too much of a problem.

Got the gfx card through already. had a childish snigger at 2+ TeraFLOPs.
wtf are they?

edit: just sent you PM. Not sure if it went though. let me know if you didn't get it.

, You've got to try Track IR.
Takes a short while to get used to it, but saves all that hat work.
Really miss it now if I forget to set it up, and I've only got the basic version, not the full 3d one
