Wow Cataclysm

I enjoyed the quests and zones in Cata that I saw but I just couldn't get into it. Think I missed all the old people I knew and just had no goal with not wanting the time-sink that is raiding.

So is Rift any good then?

Currently im trying out the free to play ones

Runes of Magic I started with, but now im trying LOTRO and so far with a few nights playing, level 16 hunter

Have done ROM, LOTRO & Age Of Conan too Maddun and Rift has a much nicer feel to it. The asthetics are so much better, Wow is 2D in comparison... swimming in Rift is as lifelike as I've seen in any game.
Haven't done the dungeons or higher level stuff yet, so will reserve final judgement until then, but if it continues like this, then I'll stick with it.

ROM was laggy and graphics weren't great...BUT it's free (unless you want the addons) so I guess it's a case of what you're happy with.

Characters on Refuge if anyone jumps on... Turts, Mephisto, Ilda & Nomadix

Its like WoW 2.0, takes everything other MMO's have done in the past but refines them to a higher level.

I really am enjoying it, so much to do, so many options and the graphics are really nice.

I don't know anyone who's come from WoW, tried Rift, and then gone back to WoW.

You just missed the free trial weekend though bud
