Pomegranates, what on earth are they supposed to taste like? A friend gave me loads of fruit as a gift, and amongst it all were two pomegranates. It was a completely tasteless experience.
So, is there a special preparation for them or something, or are you just supposed to eat the seeds and enjoy something about them?
Just be a nutter... life becomes much more exciting, and people won't expect anything more of you...
It's the seeds wot you eat... the "tasty" bit is the fleshy capsule the seeds sit in within the flesh of the fruit itself. I've only ever had a half of one, and I wasn't especially fussed about it. I'd rather have an apple.
The fleshy coating to the seed should be really sweet. They are a fuss but a lovely flavour when ripe. Trouble is like most of our fruit nowadays, it's bred for appearance and long life rather than taste.
