Last major battle to be fought on British soil. Great place to visit take your own book and avoid the tourist nonsense. if your on Facebook check out the group circle of gentlemen for your scottish history they are spot on if a little biased to the scots

Well my family have tentative plans to make our way up to Scotland, definitely somewhere scenic. We often set up a tent en-route and visit places, and I'm sure this would be a place that would interest us.
