Well if it helps any, it hasn't given me any great advantage.

They have simply hit the nail on the head with this game now. Everything is right about it - the strategy, reward system, 'score' system.

I'm still as Gungho as ever... you won't regret getting this Mr. T. It's a game your computer will grow into, so will only get better with every upgrade...

If you mean on the limited edition you get a separate card inside the box with the unlock code on it. You then login go to multiplayer and redeem code. :)

Cheers H, you must be a mind reader! I could not have understood that if I had not written it.

Sorry I was rushing out the door this morning.

There's really no major advantage to the Limited Edition other than an additional slip of paper in the case, honestly.

The unlocks it gives you, it gives you again later on as you progress - except you don't need it then cos you've already got it. This niggled me as I felt at that point I had missed out on an unlock for something I already had.

Check out Amazon UK and get one from there for £24.99. :)

It also gives you the extra maps, which seperately I believe is another £10 so when the limited ed was £25 is was a bargain as now its £25 for the game and £10 for the map pack

There is word they are releasing a map pack on the 30th March so as not to segment the community. Check it out, I'll see if I can find a link somewhere. :)

so who out of GSV has the standard edition and who has the limited edition?

As servers with the VIP maps on are not much use for people with the standard edition

If most of us have the standard ed, I will still look to get it

Also as you guys are already playing it, will my current PC run it nicely or will I have to upgrade?

E8500 @ 4GHz
8GB DDR2
HD4870 1GB
20" TFT @ 1680x1050
Vista X64

Hate you... yeah it'll run just nice for you... <_<

:P

Windows 7 would make it run even nicer though.

sofware4students if you wanted to buy Win7.

I'll go and wash my mouth out with bleach now, I used the BUY word and Micro$oft together.

My son is 8, but qualified as a student.

May even get Office as it's on offer.

Nurse, bring the tablets, I'm thinking of sending Bill Gate$ some of my money.

As far as I'm aware all the download content on the PC will be free. When you start BFBC2 it does an auto update check and will download the latest version. You have no option on this, so I'm thinking that the maps will be automatically downloaded on release for the PC.
I'm sure I read somewhere that all the PC DLC will be free, on the consoles this will be an optional purchase download.
