Have you tried running it in XP compatibility mode?

Yup indeedy... tried that... I'm getting into the game okay, can change all manner of settings, just can't play it in W7 yet.

I've not had a lot of time to have a really good bash at it as yet. I'll get there though...

Well this info looks promising... <a href="http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/ ... ge#2914055" target="_blank">has apparently been demonstrated to work</a>... will give it a go tomorrow hopefully.

I'm running it on w7x64 and it works fine..

That's interesting, wonder why I'm having this problem then... must be a driver quirk somewhere...

Well I'm not using any drivers for anything other than the creative ones for the XFi card and ATI ones for the GFX, everything else is as w7 installs it.

I installed BF2, then SF, then put all the patches on, nothing else.

I'll reinstall then, maybe there was something I missed.
