The Battlefield Blog has an update on beta testing of Battlefield: Bad Company 2, which has been pushed back to early next year from a planned launch next month. They offer reassurances that Windows beta testing of the military shooter sequel has not been cancelled, since PC beta testing details were removed from an earlier post, prompting cancellation concerns. DICE says: "With the huge success of the PS3 Beta we decided to drastically increase the PC Beta's capacity to insure as many people as possible could participate. Unfortunately this meant we had to delay the Beta to very early next year giving us more planning time to make it happen and implement more optimizations." In the meantime, they offer a full list of PC features, which include support for 32-player games; full DirectX 9, 10, and 11 support; PC peripheral support; dedicated servers, private servers, and an updated version of their PC squad play system. You can find all the details on the upcoming sequel in this AT Battlefield Bad Company 2 F.A.Q.
