Just picked up a copy from Game Station for £24.99 not a bad price since the rrp is £34.99. The manual is f'ing huge though and gonna take a lot of reading.

Read a reveiw in PC zone or Gamer , that the command menu is quite not user friendly and they give it 70%.
Anyway on the box specs are optimal :
quad Core CPU or fast Dual Core CPu
Intel Core 2.8 or AMD 64 X2 4400+ or faster
Ram 2Gb
Video card 8800GT or ATI 4850 shader model 3 and 512Mb
O/S Xp or Vista

Sadly I am 300 miles from home and stuck in a Coffee/bookshop on my acer one so can't play it.
Anyone else getting it.

The Game that is, Nelly!!!!!!

Well the game is patched already (so is AAO3). Hopefully it will improve the problems reported <a href="http://www.pcgameshardware.com/aid,6857 ... /Practice/" target="_blank">here</a>.

Its on order and has been despatched to me on Friday so expecting it Monday. The stats on the size of this game are frankly staggering.

I know its ocuk forums but it will have to do.<a href="http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showth ... t=17981901" target="_blank">My Webpage</a>

Just read through the whole thread on OcUK forums (thanks Nelly). This game seems to be a bit buggy and a resource hog. Hopefully patches will sort out the bugs, but it sounds as though the game isn't finished by a mile.

Been watching a few videos on Youtube and it looks as though it could be fun. <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t911Yj3B ... re=channel" target="_blank">The A10's sound amazing</a>, air strikes and artillery look good as well. Like most multiplayer games it will be fun if you can get your side to play as a team!

Let me know how you guys get on with the game and I may purchase it once I get my new rigg sorted.

Just started reading <a href="http://ttp2.dslyecxi.com/" target="_blank">this </a>guide on Arma2 also check out the same guys video on using the <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9wXx3vMy ... r_embedded" target="_blank">TrackIR5 with Arma2</a> simply awesome.

The more I see the ,more I fancy getting this game.

It's the Co-operative side of ArmA II that really got me interested, being able to play the Campaign and the Scenarios with GSV against the AI. So no chance for hax04s and scripters apart from Nelly that is :P

Oi, those accusations brought by the ex-gsv'er Wicki were never proven in a court of law Rasputin. I think the ermm distortion happened because he had an old set of graphics drivers. It's not my problem the fraps footage of the alleged 203 grenade miracle shots were accidentally wiped due to an unknown individual walking past the evidence room with a large electromagnetic device.

Wrong, wrong, wrong. <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1szKWcxF ... xt_from=PL" target="_blank">The video evidence is here</a>, only the names have been changed to protect the guilty (Nelly).

Lol yeh those were the days eh Hammer.

Mine werent spammin, they were all aimed at Wicki :D

Had a nightmare with this Arma2, turned out the latest graphics drivers dont work with vista64, had to revert back to version 182.50 to make it work properly. Nvidia 8800GTS 512 card.

Looks ok now, jumping into it tonight.

At the moment I am not very happy with this game. I think the specs are way too high to get it looking good. I am getting 22fps on low settings but the game looks crap.

Been playing with the settings to get a good compromise but it just aint workin here. Looks great on very high but i am getting 8fps.

c2de6600 2.4ghz
vista64
8gb ram
8800gts512mb gpu

I cannot afford to get a new rig for just this game when cod4, bf2, aa3 look fine.
