CS rates :D

ok, my uni internet is amazing, equivalent to about a 2mb connect when its working, but it does spike sparadically (sp?).

I seem to get alot of choke even when its not spiking, jsut wondered if any1 knows a quick fix for this?!

just set the connection in steam to a 2meg line and leave them at that

tiss all I so, something like rate 20k blah blah blah

if you wanna be proper like I've reset em to then it should be about rate 20k, cl_update and cl_cmdrate 101 but you'll have probs on most servers and esp if anyonr joins with greater than about 80 ping. I get alot of prob with peeps over 100ping and if thier on I low my rates to something like 20k, 60, 50

I had mine set on CS:S by a server which auto changed rates for everyone, so mine are now rate 20000 update 66 cmdrate 66

yeah thats about min you should have for the game really, esp as theirs probably no gamer that plays on dial up or ISDN anymore.

Quite simple guys....install aimbot and you dont have to worry about rates

I tink the main problem with mine is that its a shared connection, but still its uni internet so should be ok.

Another thing is I dont know hats going on with my microphone, works fine in Skype....
