I hate them, Anyway I not five minutes ago had one and instead of the normal thing I do by saying that I want everything then backing out, I just hung up and then they called back again so I hung again. then the phone rings again and some woman says that she is from goverment thing about manners to cold callers and that I could get charged Â£50 if I don't say sorry. Well I argued the point about them phoning me and that I can hang up the phone on who ever I want, " It's just like walking away from someone" which is not against the law. But She carries on with it. So I say sorry and tell them not to Phone again.

It was probably just the same people again making you apologise.

Thats my thought, but I don't like being rude. I was speaking to the Wife and we think that it was just her boss or something like that. As class said I should of hung up on her too.

You should have told her you were busy right now, but ask her for her home telephone number and tell her you will phone her later at home. When she says she is not allowed to do this say, yeah but it's alright for you to phone me at F#$king home. Then hang up.

I had one guy phone me to tell me I was entitled to a FREE mobile phone. Then he gave me the normal sales talk about the contract. I let him waffle on for 5 minutes then told him I didn't want the contract but I wanted the FREE mobile I was entitled too. The I started arguing with him about how it was not free, in the end he apologised.

Takes about a month to fully kick in, and it still can't stop the foreign and bot callers, but I can't remember the last time I received an unsolicited call.

There is also a link on that site to MPS which helps save the odd forest or two!

hi

i have a few ways of dealing with em

1.i have my guitar amp right near the phone so i let them talk for a bit whilst setting up me geetar them i let em ave it slayer metallica anything thats hard n heavy.its weird tho i never get to the end of a song b4 they hang up

2.tango horn what a winner best thing i ever got from tango

3.another good one is when they ask are u the homeowner say no
they procced to say that u are currently in robbing the house the reaction is brilliant

4reapeat every word that they say its a winner they do hang up

We all need a 7 year old daughter. I phoned Nelly the other week and Alice answered. I asked her if her dad was in and she told me I had the wrong number.
