I fitted a new hob one of those flash halogen things that were all the rage in the 90s......Then decided to finish off the kitchen and paint the ceiling, stood on work unit, slipped and put my foot right through the hob.......and insurance wouldnt cover it

Or the stud wall I put up....dead proud of it I was....next day joiner turned up to hang door and couldnt cause I hadnt put enough noggins or some such nonsense in......Had to pay him to rebuild the bloody thing
