I tried Ubuntu not so long ago and thought it was really nice and easy to use

Yeh I played with it for a few days, it was easy for a complete novice.
Crikey there are a lot of distros.

Aye, got the new 7.04 ubuntu in vmware at the mo, I was going to put it on my main rig, but ATI cards and no X-Fi support means I wont be...

Also got OpenSuse 10.2, Mandriva & Puppylinux

Fedora Core 6 likes ATI cards :) only linux distro i ever found that would start X on my x850xt :rolleyes:

plus its got a great spinning multiple desktop thingy :D was spinnin the screen for a good 15 mins when i found it :unsure:
