I was there myself with my wife and 2 kids. Very disappointed with the play list. I can’t get in to the new album at all, for me it’s my least favourite Maiden album. To play a new album from start to finish is a big risk. Iron Maiden obviously like it but I don’t know anyone else who really does.
It was my kids first rock concert so I felt sorry for them, and how can Maiden finish without playing Run To The Hills or Number Of The Beast?

Trying to remember what they played:

A Matter Of Life & Death – Full Album
Fear Of The Dark
Iron Maiden
The Evil That Men Do
Hallowed Be Thy Name

Can’t remember if they played anymore.

If I new what they were going to play before I purchased the tickets I wouldn’t have gone.

:(

I saw them last year, they played all their greats, and had a 12 foot eddie walking about on stage with a big bloody knife, and in the encore a massive inflatable demon popped out from behind the stage and swooped down on the people in the front! :D

Fear of the dark is a damn good song, live or not, but run to the hills is by far the best.

Gutted it wasn't a good show, maiden represent some of the last true rock bands, no need to change something that works so well :(

Was my first Maiden concert and I thought it rocked hard. Trivium were a let down for me though, only liked the last song they did. They sound like they want to be metallica imo.

All in all worth the cash :D

I'd recommend them, they were playing to a half empty arena and a fresh crowd but they were great.
