Ok I know I might be behind the times but I've not been reading into the console market for some time. Has anyone come across this yet?
If so is it as easy and trouble free as the reports are saying that Xbox live still all works etc after the firmware upgrade allowing "backups" etc to be used??
I'd be interested in an xbox 360 on it's merits alone but this opens up a whole new ball game

it depends on how advanced this firmware crack is... Live is always updated, so sooner or later it will pick up on the crack, and your console will be probably be blacklisted. Thats all i know about it so far
