Inappropriate Humour at Work

...you know...those moments when the boss says something silly and you think of a witty reply that would make him look stupid, but you stop yourself just in time.

For some strange reason I can't stop myself "just it time" anymore

.

Started with the "company no smoking policy" notices, which I changed to "company no smiling policy", followed by quite a few off the cuff remarks. Then yesterday I noticed that the acting MD had left his coffee mug in the kitchen. On it were the words...

"I wish I was in Guildford"

...to which I added a post-it-note saying

"We wish you were in Guildford too"

...bizarrely he wasn't amused
