Family got me a Mavic Mini 2 for christmas. Weather has been too windy and wet to play with it much though.
Anyone got any drone experience/tips?
Other than don't crash it. or at least make sure you're filming when you do.

If you crash it, set fire to it first?

Re: Drones
Can you strap a Bob style M249 to it?
Just be a nutter... life becomes much more exciting, and people won't expect anything more of you...
Re: Drones
Awesomely capable bits of kit some of them now, do you fancy a career change Bob to that guy on youtube DJ audits ?
The only bit I do know from them videos is sub 250grams needs no paperwork.

Re: Drones
Those audit videos piss me off big time.
Most of the time they're just trying to prompt a reaction for clicks. Why the hell do they want to film over a police station or whatever anyway.
Just because you've got the freedom to do so, doesn't mean you have to.
Been subject to a self centred, arrogant, camera prick who was trying to film a rescue we were doing.
Kept stating that he had every right to be there etc. Upsetting to both the family and rescuers there.
One of my guys just picked up his kit and removed it all with him in tow, protesting to the local bobbys who he had been slagging off a couple of seconds before.
He then wondered why they didn't take his side.
