The only drawback is the remote is a bit crappy.

I'm currently thinking about maybe getting a NAS setup to store my stuff on as I'm always running out of disk space and replacing the cyclone Mk2 box with G-Box Midnight MX2 Android 4.2 Jelly Bean Dual Core XBMC Streaming Mini HTPC TV Box Player

I'm not clued up on the HTPC as I've never used one. I think the above box will suit my needs and I can add a wireless keyboard to surf the net etc.

I think this may be a fairly reasonable priced way to set up a HTPC.

You seen the Archos TV Connect thingy Hammer? Looks pretty nifty.

This company seem to be well up on the android tv stuff. Popular in China I think.

There are so many android tv boxes I am confused as to which has the right development put in.

Looks like thee is a lot out there if you keep searching. I haven't done any research yet but as I said in my first post. I want more storage and be able to access files over the wired network to watch on the TV. The G-Box MN2 looks like it auto updates the latest firmware version and It decodes 1080.MKV's not bad for around the £100 mark.

I need to read up about NAS. See if I can get a 4 bay drive unit and then occupy them when necessary.

NAS boxes have come on great bounds since I had my last home one, we use QNAP ones at work and they do 90% of what my WHS box does for me..

If you can get a cheap HP Microserver tho I can recommend them..
