Know anyone still on the Homehub 1.0?

Yes you do... Me, until yesterday.


My speed was between 3-6Mb, but progressively getting worse more often.
So yesterday When I was trying to install the BF3 update (Installed but still won't play....) at 800Kbps and struggling to get on the internet with the other PC, I ran the gauntlet of BT helplines again.

After half an hour of stupid questions, were the connections in properly...(I know he has to ask them....), he eventually asked if I was on the Homehub 3 and what were the lights showing...
I, literally, said LOL, as well as LOLing for real and said, no was still on the first version.
So he then admitted that the old hub is not compatible nowadays and would send out a 3.0 next day delivery for free.

Sorted, now downloading at 16Mb and happy, though cheesed off that I've struggled for so long.

Still can't get BF3 to run though...

hehe its all such a pain isn't it with ISP's. I've just upgraded to 60mb and changed the TV to tivo, so thats a new box under the telly and a new "super" hub.
I've had 3, yes 3 tv boxes in just under 3 years, madness !
