Just keep getting this meassage:
Game disconnected: you were kicked by PunkBuster. Stated reason: PunkBuster kicked player 'DanglyBob' (for 0 minutes) ... RESTRICTION: Service Communication Failure: PnkBstrB.exe driver failure (PnkBstrK.sys) ffab
Map loads OK, but within a couple of secs getting kicked. This isn't the same as the normal router probs I was getting.
I've reinstalled PB from pb setup and added BF3 that way, but still get the same problem.
Any ideas?

Their is a fix for your proble bob.
<a href="http://fearless-assassins.com/forum/tut ... kbstrbexe/" target="_blank">http://fearless-assassins.com/forum/tut ... trbexe/</a>
The author of this method did it on a 32bit system, if you are running a 64bit os you should also check C:\Windows\SysWOW64 for the files that need their
permisions and compatability settings altered.
I had this problem once before and that is the easiest way to fix it.
When you start up bf3 next, run it windowed and start your task manager, you should see pnkbstrA.exe running already.
you will probably see pnkbstrB.exe start and then disapear again very soon after, it should be running the entire time bf3 is running.
Might be worth checking another pb game just to make sure before you go tampering with anything just to be on the safe side.

HI Bob I had that a week ago and was getting kicked after anything from 5 secs - to 45 secs (approx) in the game also had a TS problem where I could not connect properly. This was all down to a Windows update that screwed up. Try doing a System restore from about a week to 2 weeks ago and try to play then (my money is on it will work) did for me. Nothing to lose you can always reinstall the update again.
