I jumped on the server for about 5 minutes and then another guy joined, a few minutes after that the server filled up nicely and is chugging away with 20 odd people on it now, looks like a good choice to keep the old map rotation..

That option eventually arrived on some BF2 servers, along with other bits and bobs to twiddle. I'm sure there are people out there working on it.

It's usually the distinguished servers that are the more 'comfy'. It might be an idea to at least have a look at that kinda thing down the line.
Just be a nutter... life becomes much more exciting, and people won't expect anything more of you...

when i was an admin on a bf2 server we found the starting map was important, no sod would join if the map was an unpopular one.

BF3 sits on the same map though until complete doesnt it?
Thats the way it looks anyways, I was playing with Smoop (ahem) the otherday, everyone got booted from the server for some reason, I came back the next day and it was in the same place we left it

Is there a way, via stats to see what maps are the most popular?
