I've googled about a bit on this and read about a PAE patch. But opinions vary about it's usefulness.
Or should I upgrade to win7 64 bit?
Vista used more RAM tbh....
Win7 32bit Only Supports 3.xx Ram?

Past concerns about going 64 bit was all to do with XP. There was very little support for it in the form of drivers, etc. Also, XP's memory management wasn't that great with the more memory you had. W7 loves 64 bit, though not as much as Linux loves it.
Let's not talk about Vista... it's kinda like that Uncle you never bring into family conversation...
The next issue for W7 is large file transfers. RAM and the demands on RAM is getting bigger, internal storage is getting bigger, external storage is getting bigger, but W7 can struggle with large file transfers.

Just be a nutter... life becomes much more exciting, and people won't expect anything more of you...
