New Bad Company 2 Content Unlikely

<a href="http://games.on.net/article/11236/Inter ... 2_Unlikely" target="_blank">There's an interview with DICE's Björn Johnsson on Games On Net</a> that is largely outdated, as it was sent out before the debut of Battlefield: Bad Company 2: Vietnam, but was answered after the release of the military shooter expansion. One element that is still relevant is word that Vietnam is likely the last new content for the game: "You should never say never, but we have nothing planned right now when it comes to even more maps for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 or Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam. VIP Map Pack 7 is probably the last one."

It would be interesting to see them open up to the general populace map making bods, or whatever they're called...

From what I've read community created maps will never happen as the licencing of the tools for map creation they now use is much more expensive and not as simple as it once was. Also believe you need to host certain parts of the core code, which they do not want to release.
