Well if they don't change I'm ok on the recommended specs. My ATI 4890 is the equivalent of the GTX 260. I have a quad 4g core, 6g of ram and I can spare 10g on my SSD drive. Roll on release date.

I don't like to boast but as seen you asked it's a GSkill Falcon 120GB.

Very nice. I was going to post a secret video I found showing a sample of a new ssd twin drive with built in raid, it just looks like a small ssd.

But I can't remember where I saw it lol, getting old. :( <_< :D :gsv:

Yeah, all that gear for the recommended specs will have really dropped in price as we get closer to the game's release time... especially so in the new year. I don't want to buy it all now while manufacturers are just hiking prices to cover their development, production, and PR costs. I wouldn't want to burn cash on kit that is currently overkill.

I've got so much going on in RL at the mo with family and friends that I'm not on my system often enough to warrant any big changes. It took me long enough to get around to installing and tweaking W7.

Thanks for those specs H. At least my system will be happy with it when BFBC comes around, and then if the upgrades do have to come about later I'll experience the difference and benefits of the kit I upgrade to.

Good times ahead, eh? :gsv:

Personally I'm gonna stick with the nVidia range, they seem to walk all over ATI on each comparitive level of cards. Plus, with dual booting Linux, nVidia is a lot more Linux friendly.

These discussions are useful because it's giving me food for thought as to what to follow through on and what mistakes to avoid.
