Not tried it running this yet, but you can still get Spry Mosaic from <a href="ftp://ftp.ncsa.uiuc.edu/Web/Mosaic/" target="_blank">here</a>
As you may remember, although not the very first web browser, Spry Mosaic is for many the Daddy of web browsers. Pounding its presence on to the web scene back in '93. (or thereabout)
It is probably still more secure and stable than its great, great, grandson, IE. (Just noticed that IE 8 "About" no longer refers to its heritage as stemming from Spry Mosaic!)
